Summary:

The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations Human Resources department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
    • Provides administrative support to the HR Department which includes HRIS data entry and maintenance, new employee on-boarding support, payroll processing and perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth departmental operations
    • Primary responsibility is supporting the HR recruiting and payroll functions. Verify timesheets reports, check for approval and exceptions and compare submitted leave requisitions with timesheet entries using payroll reports.
    • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
    • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, employee engagement initiatives, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
    • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
    • Provide administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of reports.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Two year college degree in a related field; or comparable combination of education and experience.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
